  Properties  

• Hydrocolloids are occlusive or semi occlusive dressings
• Kollagen™ Hydrocolloids combine the ease of Hydrocolloid use with the bio-active collagen

  Indications  

• Partial and full thickness wounds
• Pressure ulcers (stage I-IV)
• Venous stasis ulcers
• Ulcers caused by mixed vascular etiologies
• Diabetic ulcers
• 1st and 2nd degree burns
• Cuts, abrasions and surgical wounds

  Composition  

1. Collagen
2. Wound buffering agents

  Collatek hydrocolloid particles application  

1. Debride and cleanse the wound
2. Apply medication if necessary
3. Apply granules 1/4" deep
4. Apply secondary dressing eg. hypoallergenic tape, gauze etc.
5. Change as necessary depending on exudate

  Collatek hydrocolloid particles removal  

1. Dressing change will be dependent on the exudates
2. Lift the dressing gently until all edges are free
3. Repeat steps under product application as needed

  Collatek hydrocolloid particles precaution  

1. Do not use if you have an allergy to bovine derived materials
