SkinTemp™ II Sheets

SkinTemp™ II Sheets are a unique line of dressings containing 100% native collagen, in the non-hydrolyzed form.  The unique technology of HBS keeps the collagen intact so that the bandages comprise a fibrous network similar to the dermis. This network of collagen fibers act by emulating the natural extra-cellular matrix of your body, creating an environment that is conducive to the normal healing process.

Evidence based studies have shown effectiveness in a variety of wounds including:

• First and Second Degree Burns
• Donor sites
• Graft sites
• Scrapes and cuts
• Diabetic, Vascular and Stasis Ulcers
• Light, moderate and heavily exudating wounds
• Full and Partial thickness wounds

The use of SkinTemp™ II sheets is cost effective due to the reduced number of times the dressing has to be changed. This saves the overall time of the clinician and patient.  The efficacy rate of SkinTemp™ II sheets is known to be almost 95% and healing times are reduced by as much as 30% over conventional wound care therapies.  

Collagen is known to have antimicrobial properties; hence, SkinTemp™ II dressings help prevent microbial infection. These sterile, hypoallergic, biodegradable sheets conform to the wounds closely and are capable of controlling fluid in light, moderate, or heavily exudating wounds. The triple helical structure also promotes the growth of fibro-vascular tissue and reduces the loss of water, electrolytes, and heat from the wound.
